Frequently asked questions

How long should a password be?

At least 12 characters, ideally 16 or more. Length adds more strength than symbols do.

Are generated passwords stored?

No. They exist only on your screen until you copy them.

What does “avoid similar characters” do?

It removes characters that look alike, such as l, 1, I, O and 0, which helps when typing by hand.
